Vipers Netball Club, Aspley was founded in 2011. Vipers Netball is a family orientated club based in Aspley, Brisbane. We play in Brisbane's largest competition at Downey Park Netball Association

Our family orientated spirit is what makes us stand out. Netball is not just a sport. It's Family, Friends and Fun! Our club enforces "It's Positive or It's Pointless" standard to all players and supporters.

Whether you are Brisbane local, just moved to the city, an experienced player, new to the game or wanting to get back into the game after time out. We cater for modified players starting at 7/8 years old, through to open ladies teams.

We look forward to meeting you and joining our successful club and you becoming apart of our Vipers family.

Payment plans and family discounts are available on NetballConnect as per guidelines set by Downey Park Netball Association and Netball Queensland.

Be COVID-Safe

We are delighted to be able to return to sport, however Covid-19 does mean there are mandatory requirements for playing and training. If you are a player, coach, manager, volunteer, parent/caregiver, supporter, EVERYONE is responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our Vipers Netball Club member's and the wider DPNA Community.

QLD Govt. have issued Vipers Netball Club with a statement of compliance that recognises our site is operating in compliance with an Industry COVID-19 Safety Plan. Vipers Netball Club is also  encouraging all our members to download the COVIDSafe App and our EVA Ap Scan QR.


Everyone is required to wear a mask, wash hands and hand sanitiser.

NEWS!! 2021


Netball Queensland have recently introduced a new platform for registrations - Introducing NetballConnect!


Netball Connect

NetballConnect is a world-leading sports technology platform that changes the way the game is managed, played, scored and spectated, with a variety of functions including:

·         Registration: with the ability to register multiple users in multiple competitions, it’s a simple, easy and intuitive registration platform.

·         Game Day app: With real-time scoring, verification, recording and rostering, it significantly reduces the required resources for game day management.

·         Competition management: Reducing the time it takes to create a draw from weeks to minutes.

Some of our members will already be familiar with parts of the app, having engaged with World Sport Action and its Live Scoring platform throughout last year, and in 2021 we are excited to deliver the full functionality of NetballConnect, all in the palm of your hand.

 

Our coaches and officials will still require the MyNetball platform for accreditation purposes only, with all other functions to be performed via NetballConnect.

 

This exciting new platform will deliver the best possible solution for the Netball Queensland community so that more people not only play netball, but they find it easier and more enjoyable to do so.

Dear Vipers Club Member & Supporters,

I would like to take this opportunity to wish each of our players and supporters an enjoyable 2020 season. 

We have had great success in previous years with a Division 1 Premiership to our name, and many final wins.

What I am most proud of is our camaraderie and mate ship, our "Never leave a man behind" attitude, we move as one. This is a special quality we develop and encourage within our teams. Support your team mates and lift them.
