Vipers Netball Club

At Vipers, we are committed to ensuring a positive and fair experience for all players throughout the netball season. The Vipers Management Committee works closely with coaches to support player development, fair play, and team success.

For all teams, we aim to provide each player with fair court time across the season. Player rotation and selection may be influenced by a number of factors, including:

• Attitude and effort

• Commitment to the team

• Attendance at training sessions

We expect all players to give their best effort—not only during games but also during training.

For non-competitive teams (7–9s and U10s), coaches will rotate players through a range of positions on the court to encourage skill development and enjoyment.

For competitive teams (U11 and up), coaches will aim to play players in positions where they are most effective and where the team will benefit. Coaches use their professional judgment when making these decisions, and we ask that all decisions be respected.

If a competitive team qualifies for the finals, coaches will make team and positional selections that give the team the best chance of success. This may mean some players have limited court time during finals. All players are expected to support their team by being encouraging and ready to take the court if called upon.

Netball is a team sport, and every individual contributes to the collective success of the group. At Vipers, we value fair play, effort, and respect at all times—from players, coaches, managers, umpires, and spectators alike.

Unsportsmanlike behaviour, on or off the court, will not be tolerated. Players displaying ongoing unsportsmanlike conduct may be removed from the court and spoken to by coaching staff.
